We are seeking a motivated and flexible Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Team in South Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to provide physiotherapy services in a community setting, supporting individuals across the lifespan with a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic conditions. You’ll be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports health, well-being, and independent living.
Responsibilities of Staff Grade Physiotherapist
- Deliver timely physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management plans for clients referred to Primary Care.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal conditions, falls prevention, chronic pain, and rehabilitation needs.
- Conduct functional and mobility assessments in clinic settings and, where appropriate, in service users’ homes.
- Develop and implement exercise programs, self-management plans, and educational sessions.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and social workers.
- Contribute to service delivery planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with HSE and CORU guidelines.
- Engage in CPD and clinical supervision as per HSE policy.
- Support student placements and contribute to the learning environment when applicable.
Requirements of Staff Grade Physiotherapist
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
- Clinical experience in a relevant setting (e.g., MSK, primary care, or rehabilitation).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own transport (as the role may include domiciliary visits).
