About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their acute care team in Louth. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation in an acute hospital setting. You will play a crucial role in helping patients maximize their independence and improve their quality of life during their recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the recovery process.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with CORU registration.
- Experience in an acute or hospital-based setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
