Medforce Recruitment are looking for Pro-active, Compassionate, Forward-thinking Occupational Therapist’s on behalf of an acute hospital in West Dublin.
Due to growth our client has vacancies in Orthopaedics’, Care of the Elderly, Medical, Surgical, Hand Therapy and plastics and Medical Assessment unit.
These posts are an excellent opportunity to develop clinically and as you progress, supervision, service development and leadership skills to effectively evolve as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, dynamic and supportive team with excellent structures and supervision. There will be a lot of opportunities for continuing professional development and career progression with your role.
Contract
We have a range of Permanent, fulltime roles and Specified Purpose Contracts available. All are Monday-Friday, 35 hour working week.
Salary range €40,325-€58,483 per annum plus public pension and benefits.
Requirements
- Be registered or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Experience working in an acute setting desirable.
- Proven ability of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to services and risk management
- The ability to develop and maintain a safe, harmonious environment for staff and patients
- Emphasising professional development and teamwork at all times.
- Effective communication skills and excellent administrative skills and computer literacy with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of building positive working relationships with clients, their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
