Medforce Recruitment are seeking dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Clinical Psychologist’s on behalf of Children’s Primary Care team in Southwest Dublin. We have positions in Primary Care in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot.
The post holder will receive excellent accredited supervision by a Senior Psychologist (on site), to help you consolidate your therapy skills in a focused and supported way. Here, you’ll find purpose in your work.
These primary Care teams have a range of highly qualified Psychologists offering strong management support and peer support throughout our team.
Contract This is a Specified Purpose Contract for 12 months, full-time 35 hours, Monday -Friday. 27 days annual leave, 10 bank holidays, weekly payroll.
Role: This Staff Grade Clinical Psychologist position is a long-term contract (1-year plus). The working week is Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork with regular supervision and CPD opportunities available to support you. There will be many opportunities to develop and consolidate core clinical skills.
Working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of first-class psychology services to children with a range of issues including Behavioural difficulties, Anxiety & depression, Difficulties managing feelings, Difficulties with concentration and attention, Mild difficulties relating to disability, Social and interpersonal difficulties, Relationship difficulties between parent and child.

Requirements
- A recognised qualification as a Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychologist (Doctorate level).
- Candidates qualified outside the Republic of Ireland will be required to have validation of their qualifications with the Dept of Health and Children
- Experience working with children in a Primary care setting would be desirable.
- Permission to work in Ireland.
- Access to a car and full driver’s licence
