Medforce Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced and motivated Clinical Psychologists on behalf of Adult community mental health teams in Wicklow. We have two vacancies in the Primary Care teams in Arklow and Bray.
We are looking for highly motivated and committed Staff grade Clinical Psychologists to join Dynamic, Professional and Supportive Adult Community Mental Health Teams in Wicklow.
Contract: Fulltime, specified purpose contracts for 1 year, 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday.
Benefits: Consolidated pay-scale rates /Weekly pay cycle /You will join a supportive, multi-disciplinary community mental health team / You will have regular clinical supervision and case management.
Essential
- Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology.
- A post-graduate professional qualification in Psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of Ireland must provide a certificate of validation of their qualifications from the Department of Health.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical/or clinically sensitive information to clients/carers/families or HSE colleagues.
- Applicants should have experience in the area of Adult Mental Health
- Knowledge/experience of working with patients with psychological trauma
- Must have gained experience of working with a range of severity of psychological presentations from mild problems requiring early intervention (e.g. adjustment issues and mild depression and anxiety) to more severe and enduring mental health issues such as Psychosis and eating disorders
