Medforce Recruitment have partnered with a friendly, supportive Children’s Disability service in Tallaght, south Dublin to recruit a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist .

The successful candidate will be part of a very supportive child disability team. In this role you will be given regular supervision, you will be supported closely by your colleagues in this role.
Working with Children with disabilities is challenging yet a deeply rewarding place to practise Speech and Language Therapy, with the support networks in place to enable you to be the best Therapist you can be and make a real difference to our children and their families.
Role: Full-time 35 hours, Monday -Friday. 27 days annual leave, 10 bank holidays, weekly payroll.

Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy or its equivalent.
- Possession of CORU Registration is essential.
- Post qualification clinical experience working with children with disabilities (desirable)
- Relevant training and experience in the assessment and intervention of children with autism.
- Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills • Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role
- Full Drivers Licence with access to own transport (desirable)
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and children with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
- An undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in dysphagia and at least 6 months experience working in this area
