Speech and Language Therapist – CDNT

Medforce Recruitment have partnered with a friendly, supportive Children’s Disability service in Portlaoise to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist.
The successful candidate will be part of a very supportive child disability team. In this role you will be given regular supervision, you will be supported closely by your colleagues in this role.

Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy or its equivalent.
- Possession of CORU Registration is essential.
- Post qualification clinical experience working with children with disabilities (desirable)
- Relevant training and experience in the assessment and intervention of children with autism.
- Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role.
- Full Drivers Licence with access to own transport (desirable).
- Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities (desirable).
- An undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in dysphagia and at least 6 months experience working in this area.
