Speech and Language Therapist
We are seeking both a Staff Grade and a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join a supportive and collaborative Paediatric Primary Care Team in Laois/Offaly. These roles offer the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment providing high-quality assessment and intervention for children and their families.
Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist
Requirements:
- CORU registration.
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- Experience working in paediatrics is essential.
- Strong communication, organisation, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties include:
- Assessment and intervention for children with a range of communication needs.
- Collaborative work with families, schools, and other stakeholders.
- Participation in team meetings and service development initiatives.
- Maintenance of accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Senior Speech & Language Therapist
Requirements:
- CORU registration.
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- Significant post-qualification experience in paediatrics within primary care or a similar setting.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
- Experience supporting junior staff and contributing to service development.
Duties include:
- Providing specialist assessment and intervention for complex paediatric cases.
- Clinical supervision of junior staff and students.
- Active involvement in quality improvement projects and service planning.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure high standards of care.
