Speech and Language Therapist
Medforce are inviting applications for a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist to join our client’s Adult Acute service in Westmeath. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to adults with communication and swallowing needs in an acute hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing disorders in adult patients in an acute care environment.

Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective care pathways.

Contribute to service development and uphold best practice in line with professional and national standards.

Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in audit, teaching, and professional development activities.
Essential Requirements:

A recognised degree in Clinical Speech & Language Therapy.

Registration with CORU
-
Eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland.
Desirable:
-
Previous experience working with adults in an acute care setting.

Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting.
