Speech and Language Therapist
Medforce are recruiting a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing care and intervention to young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Provide a quality Speech and Language Therapy service to children and adolescents with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties within a CAMHS setting.
- Carry out assessment, intervention, and therapy planning tailored to each service user.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support holistic care.
- Contribute to case discussions, care planning, and service development.
Requirements for the Speech and Language Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience or strong interest in working within child and adolescent mental health.
- Competence in managing communication disorders and supporting young people with complex needs.
- A professional, flexible, and team-focused approach to work.
