Are you passionate about supporting children and families in their communication journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join a Primary Care Paediatric Team based in Naas, Co. Kildare.
This is a rewarding role in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, offering the chance to work closely with children and their families to provide early intervention and community-based therapy.
Key Responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Deliver high-quality, family-centred assessment and intervention for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and early years settings to support children’s development
- Work as part of a Primary Care multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Public Health Nurses, and others
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records and contribute to service planning and improvement
Requirements for the Speech and Language Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- CORU registration (or evidence of application in progress)
- Experience working with children or within paediatric services (placement or professional)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
