Medforce Healthcare Recruitment in partnership with our client a Children and Family Services based in Co. Louth are currently recruiting a dedicated Social Worker for an opportunity within a Safety and Welfare team in Co. Louth.
This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families, contributing to safeguarding, assessment and intervention while supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.
The Role
As a Social Worker, you will play an important role in promoting the safety and welfare of children and supporting families. You will undertake assessments, contribute to care and support planning, coordinate interventions and work collaboratively with colleagues and relevant professionals.

Salary: €44,875–€65,040 per annum, depending on incremental point

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Specified-purpose contract, expected to run until 1 April 2027

Requirements

Recognised Social Work qualification

Current CORU registration

Full right to work in Ireland

Full driving licence desirable for community-based work

Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills

Experience in child protection, safeguarding or child and family services desirable
