Job Title: Social Worker – Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT)
Location: Mullingar, Co Westmeath
Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales
Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Job Description:
As a Social Worker on the CDNT, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support plans tailored to the needs of each child. Your work will help improve the quality of life for children with disabilities and empower their families to manage the challenges they face.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and counselling.
- Advocate for children with disabilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Recognized Social Work qualification and CORU registration.
- Experience with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong assessment and counselling skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Have access to a car with a full licence.
