Social Worker – Adult Mental Health
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their Adult Mental Health Services team in South Dublin. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges on their journey to recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support clients’ mental health and social well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health nurses.
- Advocate for clients to access community resources, housing, and support services.
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support to clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work and registration with CORU.
- Experience in mental health services or a related healthcare setting.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to person-centered and recovery-focused care.
