Social Worker
Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Social Worker to join a Meath Mental Health Service based Co. Louth. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team providing vital mental health services to people within the community.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
- Provide psychosocial assessment, therapeutic interventions, and support to service users and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support service users’ recovery and wellbeing.
- Advocate for service users’ needs and rights within the mental health care system.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with HSE and professional standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
Requirement for the Social Worker:
- A recognised qualification in Social Work and registration with CORU.
- Experience working in mental health or related settings (placement or post-qualification experience considered).
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Access to own transport and a full clean driver’s licence desirable.
