Social Worker
Medforce are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Social Worker to join our client’s Children’s Disability Service in Drogheda/Bettystown. This is a stand-alone post within a supportive interdisciplinary team, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide social work support to children with disabilities and their families, including advocacy, care planning, and safeguarding.

Work as part of a dynamic children’s disability service, collaborating with families and a range of professionals.

Undertake assessments, interventions, and family support in line with best practice and national policy.

Contribute to service development and maintain professional standards of practice.
Essential Requirements:

CORU Registration as a Social Worker.

Relevant qualification in Social Work.

Full, clean driving licence and access to your own car

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while being part of a wider interdisciplinary service.
Desirable:
-
Experience working with children and families, particularly within disability services (placement experience will suffice)

Knowledge of national policy and frameworks relating to children’s disability and family support.
