Our client provides high-quality, family-centred services to children and young people (0–18 years) with complex disabilities and developmental needs, making a meaningful difference every day.
About the Roles
You will work as part of a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT), providing holistic support to children and families in line with the Progressing Disability Services (PDS) model.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker
- Provide assessments, support plans, and therapeutic interventions
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Deliver case management, safeguarding, and advocacy services
- Collaborate in team planning, service delivery, and family-centred goal setting
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff (Senior role)
Requirements for the Social Worker
Staff Grade Social Worker:
- Professional Social Work qualification and CORU registration
- Experience working with children and families
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of disability services and relevant legislation (e.g. Children First, Disability Act)
Senior Social Worker:
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Proven leadership, clinical supervision, and service development skills
- Strong understanding of family-centred practice and interagency collaboration
