We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers for permanent, full-time opportunities across Cork and Kerry with a leading disability service provider.
The organisation supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism through residential, respite, and community-based services focused on independence, inclusion, and person-centred care.
The Role
Position: Social Care Worker
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Locations: Cork & Kerry
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support service users in achieving meaningful outcomes and living fulfilling lives within their communities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework (BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent Health/Social Care qualification).
- CORU registration, or proof of application in progress.
- At least 1 year’s experience supporting vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of current national and sectoral policy developments within disability social care services.
- Ability to implement, review, and contribute to support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Full driver’s licence and access to own car essential.
