Social Care Worker
We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers to join a dedicated Adult Mental Health Team supporting individuals across North and South Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care Worker who is passionate about supporting Adults with mental health needs and helping individuals achieve greater independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Care Worker:
- Provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Develop positive, professional relationships with service users.
- Support individuals with daily living skills, community integration and independent living.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual support plans.
- Promote choice, dignity, independence and recovery.
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records and complete relevant documentation.
- Support individuals to access appropriate community and social supports.
- Contribute to a safe, positive and supportive environment.
Requirements for the Social Care Worker:
- Relevant QQI Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline.
- Experience working within mental health, disability, community or social care services is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A person-centred and recovery-focused approach.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required for some positions.
- Garda Vetting will be required.
