Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: €18.42 – €26.56 per hour (depending on experience)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established disability service provider supporting adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism across residential and day services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Social Care Workers to join a community-based residential service in Kyle, Co. Kilkenny, supporting individuals to live meaningful, inclusive, and independent lives.
The Role
As a Social Care Worker, you will:

Support adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to live an ordinary life within a community setting

Deliver person-centred supports aligned with individual care plans
-
Promote independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion
-
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
-
Maintain accurate records and comply with policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards
Requirements
-
Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related Health/Social Care discipline
-
CORU registration (or proof that registration is in progress)
-
Minimum 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities

Knowledge of current policies and developments within disability services

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
