Medforce Recruitment are seeking an Enthusiastic, Motivated and Dynamic Senior Speech and Language Therapist to take up an exciting opportunity in an Adult Community Primary Care team in Drogheda.
You will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills to work collaboratively with a team of Specialist Speech and Language Therapists and education staff, delivering interventions that meet the needs of students with a variety of speech, language and communication needs.
Contract
This is a specified purpose 1 year contract, a fulltime position Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with a strong possibility of becoming permanent in less than the year!
Main duties of the job
To provide speech and Language Therapy services to adults in a modern primary care setting. The patients will have acquired communication disorders, and/or speech and/or language disorders, and/or eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.
The Successful Candidate should be/have
- A Diploma/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- CORU registered.
- Qualification on Dysphagia
- Extensive experience working with a wide range of adults
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Have enthusiasm, imagination and initiative.
- Full Clean Driving License with use of a car
