Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Medforce are currently recruiting for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established Children’s Disability Network Team based in Crumlin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive interdisciplinary team providing high-quality services to children and their families.
The Role
As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide comprehensive assessment, intervention and family-centred support to children with complex needs. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic MDT including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Therapy Assistants.
Responsibilities of the Senior Speech and Language Therapist:
• Delivering speech, language, communication and dysphagia assessments and interventions
• Managing a varied caseload with clinical autonomy
• Providing clinical supervision to junior staff and students
• Contributing to service development within the CDNT
• Working in partnership with families, schools and key stakeholders
• Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and reporting
Requirements for the Senior Speech and Language Therapist:
• CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience
• Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental needs
• Strong MDT collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering family-centred care
