Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Are you a motivated Speech and Language Therapist with experience managing a dysphagia caseload?
Medforce are seeking a CORU registered Speech and Language Therapist (Staff Grade or Senior) to join our client’s team in a prestigious acute facilty based Naas, Kildare.
Our client provides an evidence-based, high-quality service to adults across the acute spectrum, including:

Stroke care
-
Age-related care
-
Critical care
-
Respiratory medicine
-
General medicine and surgery
The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing difficulties for inpatients across the acute medical wards. The department has consistent access to Videofluoroscopy and FEES, and they place a strong emphasis on supervision, mentorship, and professional development.
Requirements:
-
Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy
-
Current registration with CORU
-
Dysphagia qualification and relevant experience
- For senior level – minimum of 3 years post-grad experience required
Desirable:
-
Acute care experience
-
Experience with instrumental swallowing assessments (VFSS, FEES)

Strong teamwork and communication skills
