Senior Radiographer

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Radiographer (MRI) to join our client’s experienced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI examinations with a high level of clinical skill, patient care, and technical expertise. You will play a key role in service development, staff training, and maintaining MR safety standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Radiographer:
- Perform a full range of MRI procedures in line with departmental protocols
- Maintain high standards of MR safety for patients and staff
- Support the implementation of new technology and clinical procedures
- Supervise and train junior radiographers and students
- Participate in clinical audits and support ongoing research activities
- Ensure professional and courteous service delivery at all times
- Attend training and CPD courses relevant to MRI
Qualifications & Requirements for the Senior Radiographer:
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent (DCR)
- CORU registration (essential)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in MRI scanning
- Qualified to administer I.V. contrast
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of MR safety and clinical governance
- Postgraduate qualification in MRI (desirable)
- Supervisory management qualification (desirable)
