Senior Physiotherapist
We are currently recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Paediatric Primary Care Team based in North Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people within the community setting.
The successful candidate will manage a varied paediatric caseload and work closely with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to support children in achieving their developmental and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental and physical needs
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans and home programmes
- Support children with gross motor development, mobility, coordination, strength, and functional independence
- Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary team members including Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychology, and Social Work
- Deliver parent education and support programmes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and service development initiatives
Requirements for the Physiotherapist
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- CORU registration
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Paediatric physiotherapy experience essential
- Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Experience within primary care or disability services
- Experience working with children with complex needs and developmental delays
- Access to own transport and full driver’s licence
