Senior Physiotherapist
Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Neurology and Rehabilitation Team in an Acute setting based in Navan. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting supporting patients on their neurological and rehabilitation journeys.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist:
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and evidence-based treatment for patients with neurological and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation programmes to promote functional recovery and independence.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Nursing, and Medical teams.
- Supervise and support junior staff and physiotherapy students.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation unit.
Essential Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist:
- BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU).
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, including relevant experience in neurology and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport (if required for outreach work).
