We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Paediatric Team in Wexford.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people in a supportive, community-based setting. You’ll play a key role in early intervention, assessment, and therapy planning for children presenting with a variety of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist:
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children aged 0–18
- Manage a varied and rewarding caseload with autonomy
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and a multidisciplinary team
- Supervise junior staff and support service development initiatives
- Participate in clinical audits and contribute to continuous improvement
Essential Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist:
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, including significant work with paediatric populations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a community setting
Desirable:
- Experience in early intervention and/or disability services
- Familiarity with postural management, motor development approaches, and parent coaching models
