Our client is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join a progressive Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Limerick. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, working as part of a dedicated, family-centred multidisciplinary team.
The Role:
You will work with children aged 0–18 with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental disabilities, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services that empower children and families to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist:
- Provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Support children presenting with gross motor delay, postural issues, neurological conditions, and physical disabilities
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team (SLT, OT, Psychology, etc.)
- Contribute to the development and review of care plans and goals
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and students
- Participate in service development, quality initiatives, and team planning
Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist:
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- CORU registration (essential)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with a strong background in paediatrics or disability
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in interdisciplinary practice and family-centred care approaches
- Full driving licence and access to a car (community visits may be required)
