Senior Physiotherapist
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join the HSE Primary Care Team in Limerick. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to adults in a primary care setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ rehabilitation, mobility, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and interventions for a diverse caseload of adult patients in a primary care setting.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to promote mobility, pain management, and functional independence.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
- Educate and empower patients to self-manage their conditions through rehabilitation programs and preventative strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with HSE policies.
- Participate in service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and full CORU registration.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience, ideally in a primary care or community healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with a diverse patient population, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic conditions, is desirable.
