Senior Physiotherapist

They are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Physiotherapist specialising in paediatrics to join their dynamic team in South Dublin. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for paediatric patients with a range of physical conditions and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including exercise, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and assist in professional development initiatives.
- Educate families and caregivers on best practices for managing paediatric conditions at home and in everyday life.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric physiotherapy and integrate evidence-based practices into care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
- CORU registration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of paediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and muscular dystrophy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of physiotherapists.
