Medforce, a proud provider of recruitment services to the HSE are delighted to announce that we are currently hiring for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join an Adults Primary Care Team in Dublin West.
“Dublin West” is composed of x3 community healthcare networks – Clondalkin, Lucan and Ballyfermot (including Palmerstown / Cherry Orchard and Inchicore).
Experience of working with adults in the context of primary care, acute care or disability services is preferable. There will be a comprehensive induction – likely taking place both in settings in “Dublin West”, and outside of the area – Tallaght / Kildare health centres, to maximise learning opportunities.
The successful candidate will be part of a very supportive, multidisciplinary team as part of the waiting list initiative where you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to elderly residents, with a focus on seating and positioning, cognitive assessment, and coordinating activities. This role requires expertise in assessing and addressing the unique needs of elderly individuals, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.

Essential for a Senior Occupational Therapist
- A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
- CORU registered essential.
