Location: East Galway & South Roscommon Network (Mountbellew PCT)
Contract: Full-time, agency
Duration: 3 months initially (immediate start)
We are currently seeking an Senior Occupational Therapist to join the East Galway & South Roscommon Network, covering a Primary Care adult caseload.
Base Location:
Ideally Mountbellew Primary Care Centre, with some flexibility to be based in Ballinasloe Health Centre if required.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions to adult clients within the community.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Support clients in developing and maintaining functional independence across daily living activities.
- Contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, and the development of best-practice standards.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in case conferences and team meetings.

Requirements:

CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist

Senior OT experience is preferred

Staff Grade Occupational Therapists with Primary Care experience will also be considered

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently within a community setting
