Our client in an acute setting is inviting applications from experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapists to join their growing Occupational Therapy Department. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, patient-focused team working in a large academic teaching hospital that is part of their Healthcare Group.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across their acute inpatient and/or specialist services, supporting patients with complex medical, surgical, neurological, or psychosocial needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients across acute and/or specialist settings (e.g., medicine, surgery, neurology, orthopaedics, or mental health)
- Manage a complex caseload with autonomy and sound clinical reasoning
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff, students, and assistants
- Contribute to quality improvement, service development, and audit initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Essential Requirements:
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Relevant clinical experience in acute hospital or specialist services
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and support service efficiency
Desirable Experience:
- Previous work in an acute care setting or with specialised populations (e.g., stroke, orthopaedics, oncology, mental health)
- Experience with discharge planning, functional assessments, and adaptive equipment
