Senior Occupational Therapist
Our client, one of Ireland’s leading private providers of Residential and Supported Living Services for children and adults with complex needs is hiring a Senior Occupational Therapist.
The Senior OT will join a brand-new, modern mental health facility located in County Meath and work alongside a Basic Grade OT and a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload with complex mental health needs
- Provide assessments and interventions focused on self-care, productivity, and leisure
- Develop individual and group programmes
- Collaborate with an MDT (including Psychiatry, SLT, Psychology, Nursing, etc.)
- Contribute to care planning, risk management, and documentation
- Supervise students and junior staff
- Support service development and participate in audits and quality initiatives
Requirements
- CORU-registered with a Degree/Masters in OT
- 3+ years’ experience, ideally in forensic or adult mental health
- Experience developing occupation-based and psychoeducational groups
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Commitment to ongoing CPD and service improvement
