our client who specialises in acute services based in Dublin is seeking a Senior Dietitian to join its dedicated multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred nutritional care within one of Ireland’s leading acute teaching hospitals.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Dietitian, you will manage a varied caseload of patients with complex clinical needs, provide advanced nutritional assessment and intervention, and contribute to service development within a dynamic acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Dietitian:
- Deliver expert nutritional care across a range of acute and specialist services
- Manage a caseload of patients requiring advanced dietetic input
- Support and supervise junior colleagues and students
- Work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to clinical audit, quality improvement, and policy development
- Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
Requirements for the Senior Dietitian:
- A recognised qualification in Human Nutrition & Dietetics
- CORU registration (essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within an acute care setting
- Senior level expereince ideal
- Proven clinical knowledge in areas such as nutrition support, gastroenterology, or surgical care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills
