Senior Clinical Psychologist – Full-time/Part-time (Hybrid)
Our client is expanding, and are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join their dedicated team in North Dublin. If you have a passion for working with children and specialise in autism and ADHD assessments, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive and multidisciplinary clinical environment.
About the Role:
The Senior Clinical Psychologist focuses primarily on autism and ADHD assessments, ensuring children and families receive accurate diagnoses and support. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in diagnostic assessment and case formulation. You will work closely with a team of professionals in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Clinical Psychologist:
- Conduct autism and ADHD assessments using standardised tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R)
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and detailed clinical reports
- Collaborate with families and provide guidance on appropriate interventions
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans for children
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Stay updated on best practices in psychological assessments and interventions
Requirements of the Senior Clinical Psychologist:
- Doctorate/Master’s in Clinical Psychology (Validated by the Department of Health)
- 4+ years post-qualification experience working with children
- Specialisation in autism assessment and diagnosis
- Strong clinical skills, including case conceptualisation and intervention planning
- Experience in Primary Care, CDNT, or CAMHS settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
