Senior Cardiac Physiologist (3 month contract – Mullingar)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our client’s dynamic team based in Mullingar, County Westeath.
As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist with a focus on acute care, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiac conditions. You will work closely with our team of medical professionals to deliver top-notch cardiac care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:

Conducting complex cardiac diagnostic tests and procedures, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization.

Assisting in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in acute care settings, such as the ICU and emergency department.

Collaborating with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to provide timely and accurate information for patient management.

Monitoring and analyzing patient data to identify cardiac abnormalities and contribute to treatment decisions.

Training and mentoring junior cardiac physiologists and students.

Keeping accurate records and reports of all procedures and tests conducted.

Adhering to the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Physiology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Registration with IICMP as a Cardiac Physiologist.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care or a similar clinical setting.

Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostic equipment and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a high-stress environment and make quick, informed decisions.
