Medforce Recruitment are seeking Professionally Qualified Social Workers to work in Primary Care centres in North Dublin. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Professionally qualified Social Workers with proven experience working in the community.
We have vacancies in Baldoyle, Tongelee, Malahide/Portmarnock, Kilbarrick and Balbriggan Health centres.
All vacancies are Specified Purpose Contracts for 1 year, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Full-time 35 hours contracts, Monday -Friday.
Salary ranging from €45,773-€65,000 per annum, plus 27 days annual leave and bank holidays.
These roles are very varied, they are an ideal opportunity to enable a Social Worker to develop a wide range of skills with the support of a professional and supportive Primary Care team. The successful candidate will be part of a very supportive Primary Care Team.
In this role you will be given regular supervision, you will be supported closely by your colleagues in this role.
Summary:
As a Qualified Social Worker, you’ll be innovative, person-centred and committed to working with adults in a strengths-based way. You’ll use your excellent relationship management skills to collaborate and negotiate with service users, their families, providers and other health care professionals, to proactively encourage independent and safe living within the community.
You are a potential candidate if you have the following:
- A recognised qualification as a Social Worker
- Registration with CORU essential
- Experience working in the community essential
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, initiative, teamwork and time management skills
- Knowledge of policy, legislation and best practice guidelines relevant to social work practice issues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
- A full drivers’ licence with access to a car is essential
