Physiotherapist
Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Senior or Experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Team serving North Roscommon and East Galway.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with a wide range of developmental, neurological, orthopaedic, and physical needs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children and their families, helping them achieve their developmental goals and maximise participation in home, school, and community environments.
The Role
As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a varied paediatric caseload
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Support children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and motor coordination difficulties
- Deliver interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
- Work closely with families, schools, preschools, and community services
- Participate in multidisciplinary assessments and collaborative care planning
- Provide education and support to parents, carers, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- CORU registration
- Experience working with paediatric caseloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience at Senior Physiotherapist level
- Community or Primary Care experience
- Experience working with children with developmental, neurological, and physical disabilities
- Knowledge of family-centred and goal-oriented practice
