Physiotherapist
Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Senior or Experienced Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Adult Team based in Roscommon.
This role is ideal for a motivated Physiotherapist with a minimum of two years’ experience treating Musculoskeletal (MSK), Orthopaedic, or Trauma patients who is looking to make a meaningful contribution to adult health services in the community.
You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary Primary Care Team, delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and supporting service users to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Provide physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult clients with MSK, orthopaedic, and trauma-related conditions.
- Deliver both individual and group-based rehabilitation programmes in line with best practice guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, Occupational Therapists, Public Health Nurses, and other members of the Primary Care Team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service evaluation and development.
- Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings, and service planning as required.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- CORU registration is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, ideally in MSK, Orthopaedics, or Trauma.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Access to own transport and a full driving licence.
