Physiotherapist
Medforce Recruitment in partnership with the HSE West is seeking Staff Grade and Senior Grade Physiotherapists to join the Primary Care Team based in Galway. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, community-based multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to adults and older persons in the local area.
Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and evidence-based interventions to clients referred within the primary care setting.
- Manage a varied caseload including musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise students and support junior staff (for senior grade role).
Essential Requirements for the Physiotherapist:
- BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Relevant post-qualification clinical experience, ideally in primary care, MSK, or community settings.
- Full driver’s licence and access to own transport.
Desirable:
- Experience working with older persons, chronic disease management, or neurological rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient-centred care.
