Our client is expanding, and they have an exciting opportunity for a Person in Charge to join their dedicated team in Mayo. This key leadership role ensures the highest standards of care and compliance with HIQA regulations and HSE policies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and a strong background in managing residential services. You will report to the Regional Director for this rapidly expanding service.

Key Responsibilities for a Person in Charge
- As a Person in Charge you will lead shifts, provide direct care, develop and implement individual care plans.
- Ensure adherence to HIQA and HSE standards, conduct audits, and maintain documentation.
- Support new team members and facilitate training programs.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and provide on-call support when required.
Essential Criteria for the Person in Charge
- A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care
- A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification.
- Level 6 Management qualification.
- A proven track record of managing a residential service which meets quality, regulatory/legislative requirements.
- Experience of report writing, personal support plans, people and roster management.
- Full current driving license with full eligibility to drive in Ireland, and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of legislative/regulatory requirements and responsibilities.
