Paediatric Speech Therapist
We are recruiting for experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapists to join a dynamic, neurodiversity-affirming multidisciplinary team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a child-led, strengths-based and trauma-informed environment supporting neurodivergent children and young people.
The role will involve:
• Delivering neuro-affirming assessments and interventions.
• Supporting children with a range of communication profiles, including AAC users, Gestalt Language Processors and minimally speaking children.
• Providing individual, dyadic and group-based therapy.
• Working closely with families through parent coaching and support.
• Collaborating with Occupational Therapists and other multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Contributing to team training and service development.
• Providing clinical guidance and support to junior team members.
• Maintaining clinical documentation and participating in CPD and supervision.
Requirements:
• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification.
• CORU registration or eligibility for registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, including paediatric experience.
• Experience working with neurodivergent children and young people.
• Strong understanding of neuro-affirming, child-led practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable experience includes AAC, Gestalt Language Processing, minimally speaking children, group-based intervention, parent coaching or clinical leadership.
