Paediatric Speech Therapist
Medforce are recruiting for Paediatric Speech & Language Therapists to join established Child Development Centres.
These are excellent opportunities for therapists who are passionate about paediatric practice and want to work with children and families within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide individual and group speech and language therapy to children and young people.
• Support children with neurodevelopmental needs, autism and other additional needs.
• Work closely with families and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences and service development.
• Support parent and teacher training where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Senior Grade SLTs may provide supervision and mentoring to junior therapists.
• Participate in CPD and ongoing professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech & Language Therapy recognised in Ireland.
• Current CORU registration.
• Current IASLT membership.
• Paediatric SLT experience desirable.
• Ideally 1+ years’ post-qualification experience, although newly qualified therapists are welcome to apply.
• Experience with autism, Down syndrome or other additional needs is an advantage.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
• Garda vetting and satisfactory references.
• Own transport for occasional school visits.
