Occupational Therapy Assistant
Medforce are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Primary Care Services team based in Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic healthcare team delivering high-quality care within the community.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapy Assistant:
- Support Occupational Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions to clients within Primary Care.
- Assist in setting up and monitoring treatment plans and activities.
- Carry out home visits and community-based interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative duties related to therapy services.
- Liaise effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapy Assistant:
- Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Experience working in a healthcare, community, or rehabilitation setting is desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Access to own transport and full driving licence is an advantage.
