Medforce Recruitment are looking for Compassionate, Forward-thinking Occupational Therapist’s with a deep passion for working with children with disabilities.
This role is based in a children’s disabilities team in Dundalk. We are open to hearing from both Staff Grade and Senior OT.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a Multidisciplinary Team that provide services to children with complex needs. You will join a close knit professional team with limitless continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience for an Occupational Therapist
- Hold a 3rd level qualification in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution
- Experience and interest in sensory integration.
- Fully registered (or registration in process) with CORU.
- Access to a car and a full, clean driving licence.
- Availability to travel to all service locations as required.
- Experience of inter- or multidisciplinary work.
- Good communication (oral and written) and good interpersonal skills.
- Experience of programme development, implementation and evaluation.
- Ability to evaluate service needs and prioritise accordingly.
- Experience in developing and presenting training for other professionals/carers.
- Experience of working with children with disabilities and their families, especially the following: Autism, Learning Disability, Physical and Sensory
