Medforce Healthcare Recruitment are proud to be partnered with the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT), an organization dedicated to providing intervention services to children aged 0-18 years who present with complex developmental needs requiring interdisciplinary intervention. Their services are rooted in the Family Centered Practice Model, aligning with the Progressing Disability Services. We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in South Dublin.
Client Focus: The team is dedicated to delivering disability services to families, children, and young individuals residing in the western districts of Dublin. Most of their service recipients are transitioning from HSE Early Intervention/School Age Teams.
The premises is conveniently located near the Luas stop, and easily accessible via multiple bus routes 27, 49, 54a, 65, 65b, 75, 76, 76a, and 77a.
Within the building you have numerous cafes, restaurants, and amenities, all conveniently within a few minutes’ walk.
Onsite Staff Facilities: • Ample onsite parking • Bicycle racks • Staff canteen equipped with fridges, kettle, microwave, toaster, and sandwich grill • Family room • Three well-proportioned therapy gyms and other clinical spaces tailored for smaller groups • Two observation areas with two-way glass for discreet monitoring.
Essential Requirements:
- Current CORU registration
- Recognized qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills are crucial for this role.
- Possession of a full driver’s license and access to a car.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience working with children with physical disabilities.
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience completing Assessment of Need.
