Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Across Ireland
Medforce in partnership with a leading healthcare provider are seeking compassionate Occupational Therapist’s to join our teams across Ireland in both Primary Care and Childrens Disability Network Teams Acorss Ireland. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of patients, ranging from children to adults, to develop personalized treatment plans and interventions that address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. As an Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to improving the lives of individuals and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and capabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide therapeutic interventions to address clients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and functional skills
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Occupational Therapy and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council) as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Knowledge of relevant ethical and legal standards in Occupational Therapy practice
