Occupational Therapist
Medforce Recruitment, in partnership with the HSE, is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, family-centred services to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and review for children and young people with developmental disabilities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
- Support families and caregivers through education, home and school visits, and collaborative goal-setting.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service planning and development.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and supervision.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in a paediatric or disability setting is desirable.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport.
