Occupational Therapist
Medforce are recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Community Mental Health Services Team in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health to support service users in the community and work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Provide a quality occupational therapy service to adults engaged with community mental health services.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to service users’ individual needs.
- Support service users in developing skills to promote independence, recovery, and quality of life.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to care planning and collaborative interventions.
- Engage in service development and contribute to best practice initiatives within community mental health.
Candidate Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting (essential).
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and professional approach to working within a community-based service.
